Being an SDE the world of Open-Source has been exciting for me and Hacktoberfest is a great place to start your Open-source journey.

Reflections

Seeing the overall participation in HF I wish to host more repositories on GitHub and welcome contributions from all over the world. The creative ideas as well as the diligence that people portray in HF is commendable and it making contributions to much bigger projects must be made simpler for more people to contribute to.
I would try and find ways to bridge the gap between contributors and maintainers, ensuring that both the ends meet requirements.
