Column selection: simultaneous multi-line editing with IntelliJ!

Did you know that IntelliJ IDEA can be used to edit multiple lines at once with its column selection feature!?

And..it's really easy. Simply hold down Alt or Option, depending on which OS you use, and drag up- or downward.

You can see this in action in the following video:

This can be handy in all kinds of situations from changing the access modifiers of multiple variables at once to adding bullet points in front of multiple lines of Markdown.

I do this all the time in vscode, except instead of alt+click you click the mouse wheel
