After hundreds of hours of intense work by dozens of volunteers, I'm extremely excited to announce the first alpha release of ClassicPress, codenamed Sunrise.
ClassicPress is a business-focused fork of WordPress that is powerful, versatile and predictable.
This is a huge step forward in being ready for version 1 (release dates will be announced by the end of the month). To make sure we release a production-ready version of ClassicPress we need to make sure everything has been thoroughly tested.
