Its been 8 months I graduated from college. Since then I have been hunting for SDE jobs and after struggling for months I ended up in my room rethinking my past life. During my college days, where other students are busy refining their problem solving skills via DSA or contributing to existing projects through Open-source contributions. Me, the greatest student of all time, was onto something else which was time consuming and had less success rate. I build simple prototypes of ideas to which I thought would a million dollar company. I explore what other people built over the years, read about early tech startups and also talked to some tech founders about how I can build a tech startup.
All of that wasted when that once in a century virus threatened the whole world. Colleges were shut, companies experienced losses and the world was like paused for two years. Talking about me, I realized that I can sleep for 20 hrs straight (Interesting right).
After covid, another revolutionary thing happened, our beloved engineers at OpenAI released their first LLM model. Now the whole world is in delight, except software engineers.
So what now, I got no job, no life, no road to the goal and I am not mentally prepared to learn AI. So I did what I did good, I built a project which took me about 3 weeks.
I present to you, my first official app,
BINDBOARD
Bindboard supports live canvas collaboration with real-time user roles and persistent drawing data. Built for fast performance and seamless interaction, it's a dynamic tool for collaborative creativity.
basically a paint app which you can use with other people.

Features
You can write data on a canvas with features like thickness, color and use built in tools (pencil and eraser)
You can create rooms and share your room with other users with a given room id.
Users can view the write data and can contribute to it if allowed to write with allow-write feature.
Write data is persisted using caching and auto expiration techniques to handle and maintain data across users.
⭐⭐ Please provide me a feedback, no matter its about user interface, or the optimization, or about the bugs.
I will provide the technology details in my next blog.
Till then,
Keep Building🔨
