I have worked in tech for years, QA, IT, gaming, and around companies like Microsoft, Samsung, and Intel, so Ghost in the Shell has always sat in a special place for me.
It is not just cyberpunk or some cool future world. It asks questions I have thought about for years, what makes us human, where does the person end and the technology begin, and what happens when memory, identity, AI, machines, and networks all start becoming part of the same thing.
I used to watch Ghost in the Shell and think about what that future would look like. Now it feels like we are actually starting to live in pieces of it.
