Need feedback on iOS background audio handling and lifecycle interruptions for a new meditation app (TestFlight)

Hi everyone,
We are currently wrapping up the development of a meditation app ("Meditación Guiada") and we are hitting some edge cases regarding iOS background audio architecture and audio session interruptions.

Since the app relies entirely on seamless audio playback, we want to stress-test how the system handles lifecycle changes and hardware interruptions across different devices and iOS versions.

If you have a few minutes to help us test the audio boundaries, you can join our TestFlight public beta here:

🛠️ What we need technical feedback on:

  • Background Execution & State Changes: Does the audio continue playing smoothly when the device locks or when multitasking into heavy-resource apps?

  • Audio Session Interruptions: Does the audio session pause and resume properly when interrupted by an incoming phone call, alarm, or system notification?

  • OS Lifecycle & Stability: Any unexpected audio crashes, memory spikes, or weird background rendering bugs?

Note: The app's UI text is currently in Spanish, but you don't need to understand the language since we are purely benchmarking the technical behavior of the background audio system.

We would highly appreciate any bug reports, crash logs, or architectural insights. Thanks for your time!
