Judgment Is the Job Now

The machine can generate the code.
It can generate ten versions.

What it can't do
is tell you which one should exist.

As producing things gets cheap,
the value moves to choosing —
knowing what's worth building,
what "good enough" means here,
when to ship and when to wait.

That's judgment,
and judgment doesn't come from the model.
It comes from scars, context, and taste.

The engineer of the next decade
isn't the fastest typist.
It's the one who can look at ten options
and say, calmly, "that one, and here's why."

Build things, still.
But sharpen the part that decides.
That's the job the tools handed back to you.
