Benefits Of Building Projects

Hello Folks ๐Ÿ˜Š,

Today I just wanted to share my personal experience related to building projects.
About 1 month ago I started learning Javascript(ES6) and following the tutorials daily and it feels good that I learn something new every day ๐Ÿคฉ.

The course I followed has some projects in it just after every 2 to 3 tutorials instructor built a project and advice us to follow it.

But I neglect that and think that oh dude these projects are so small and wastage of time๐Ÿ™„.

What my thinking was that, First I will learn all the concepts and features then I will build a huge project ๐Ÿ˜Ž.

But, I was wrong ...๐Ÿ˜“

After learning all the features when I sit down to built a project, I fell my self as an empty mind๐Ÿคฏ.

Feel like I don't know anything... how to think in a sense of solving a problem and using all the advance syntax and their concepts I've learned so far ๐Ÿ˜ค.

Then I realize I made a big mistake.๐Ÿ˜ค

I learned everything but without their real-world implementations, that's why my thinking process was not developed.๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Then I go back again watch the tutorials, build those projects and guess what??? I feel great and my thinking process was also developed related to problem-solving.๐Ÿค“

I just wanted to give advice to all the beginner developers that please don't neglect the projects...build them and you will surely feel great...๐Ÿค—

That's All Folks๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you.

I also share the same interests in self-taught programming. I absolutely agree that doing projects helps with the understanding. It is also fun to build them. Me: building projects.... Yes it works!!!

I've found that I forget what I've learned unless I put it into practise, and that creating projects and solving problems leads to learning just as much as books do, at least once you have the basics in place :-)
