Validate an EU VAT number live (VIES)
This is the feature most free tools don't have. For B2B sales inside the EU you often apply the reverse charge — but only if the client's VAT number is genuinely registered. Get it wrong and the VAT is on you.
In EU mode, enter the client's VAT number with its country code (e.g. DE123456789) and click Validate (VIES). The tool checks it live against the EU's official VIES database and shows whether it's valid plus the registered business name:

US sales tax by state, auto-filled
The US has no federal sales tax and the rate depends on where you are. Select USA, pick your state, and the base statewide rate fills in automatically — California 7.25%, Texas 6.25%, and so on. It's a base rate (city/county rates can add more), and it stays editable, so you start from the right number instead of guessing.
