One search box, five kinds of research material

The first version of my search description focused on notebooks. That was incomplete.

The same phrase can appear in five different places: indexed notebook content, a source record, a saved citation, a flashcard, or a reusable prompt. Treating all of them as anonymous text would make the result list harder to understand.

NotebookBloom keeps the record type visible and uses the right next action for that type. Notebook results return to notebook context. Cards and citations keep their existing saved-item behavior.

This changed how I describe the feature in the Chrome Web Store. The accurate promise is not “search every notebook.” It is one place to search the research material that has been indexed or saved locally.

Implementation check

Before publishing or shipping this workflow, I verify it against a real notebook, keep the limitation visible, and make sure the next action returns to evidence.
