Hey awesome community !!
I have recently started to learn fronted technologies. And with that basic knowledge, managed to build my long pending dev portfolio.

List of items that I still need to work on are:
- - Website performance ( quite poor)
- - Rewrite content( lots of grammatical mistakes).

As a backend developer, trying to get my hands on frontend. This is nice and inspiring for me. Thanks.
The large image was almost a "jumpscare", signifying "whoah this site is gonna have some crazy css", and it kind of did. Try minimizing the size of the image.
Box-shadows don't match the color of the box containers, underlined text is going a bit too out of bounds, and overall a lot of the design elements don't maintain the same styles.
Dark mode looks much better, as everything kind of synchronizes back together and the colors match a lot better. The contact form is still in light mode, which is a bit painful on the eyes going from such a dark color to a light color.
Google map section is still in development mode.
The link to the discord is not functional.
hover animation for links makes the look like spelling errors.
So overall, that's all the feedback I can offer. Great job!
Points taken.
Thanks for sharing detailed feedback
Could not have said it better myself
I'm aware that you specialise "mostly on backend things", but I think I would be good idea to include a "Work" or "Projects" section that covers demos of using any algorithms you've created in real-world scenarios, APIs you've built (fetching, sending requests), etc.
sure, makes sense to have gist of ideas around past work.
Thanks !

There are a lot of rooms for improvement with respect to the design. I kinda get the idea that you want to build a unique-looking portfolio, but if you plan to delve into the front-end side, other than just the tools and technologies, I would recommend some proper research and study on the fundamentals of UI design. This may be a good start: youtube.com/watch?v=tRpoI6vkqLs.
agree with where you are heading towards. I will definitely take look at resource you shared. Thanks for sharing feedback.
Quick question, how did you create your avatar image! Curious to know.
