I myself have a hard time deciding between Claude Code and Google’s Gemini CLI. From my experience, Opus 4 is indeed quite good. A few days ago, I heard someone comparing Cursor CLI and Claude Code—both using Sonnet 4. You might not believe it, but according to his comparison, Cursor CLI won by far.
I've been using Claude Code for a couple of weeks now.
In comparison, other coding AIs seem like neighborhood gossips: they confuse everything and solve nothing.
