DEV·TV is a browser-based, TV-style app for developer content, and it's built to be easy to run.
🛠️ The whole thing is a single index.html file hosted on GitHub Pages, with no backend, no build step, and no database.
🚀 Anyone can open the page and start watching, and the source is public under Apache-2.0. 📖
One of its channels is Spotlight. 🌟 It rotates featured developer projects on screen, so the people who built those projects get seen by everyone who tunes in.
👀 Right now the rotation includes CiCrew and Astratide, an astrology visualizer built by a developer who sent it in.
🔮 Astratide is a good example of what the channel is for: a small project, built by one person, that someone else can see, click on, and try for themselves. ✨
That's the part I most want to grow. Spotlight takes submissions in two forms:
- 🖥️ A live project you've hosted somewhere, such as a tool, a visualization, or a small experiment.
- 📦 A GitHub repo with a clear README, even if it doesn't have a hosted demo yet.
If you've built something you're proud of, send it in and I'll look at it for the rotation. 🎬 Submissions are reviewed by hand, so a short description of what the project does and who it's for helps a lot. 🙌

and the source is on GitHub if you want to read through it or contribute. 💻
