Collector of OpenTelemetry

The OpenTelemetry Collector bridges the gap between instrumented apps and multiple backends or observability platforms.

OpenTelemetry Collector may also function as an agent, collecting telemetry data from systems to be monitored and sending it to tracing tools using the OpenTelemetry protocol.

Collector, for example, may monitor Redis by running the INFO command on a regular basis to gather telemetry data and deliver it to your observability pipeline for analysis and monitoring.
