This is my journey through un-learning and re-learning web development.
A few years ago, I was busily trying to build as many projects and possible and learn any tool that I thought would help me stand out in the tech job market - a place filled with intelligent and ambitious individuals.Now, as someone who already has a day job unrelated to the tech world, I start my learning journey not to race, but simply to learn and stay on top of the fast moving trends in the tech world.
Why do I feel the need to do this? I'm not sure - but all I know is the process and outcomes of creating projects spark joy, and the knowledge that the everyday tools and the merciless algorithms of social media that absorb our attention and self-esteem are made of simple code, made by other humans, open a set of eyes that help me see the world in a higher resolution perspective.
