⚡ Brisk — Text-to-Speech Web App 🗣️ Convert text into natural-sounding speech in seconds.

💡 Inspiration

We often come across situations where reading long paragraphs or notes becomes tiring — whether it’s studying, accessibility needs, or multitasking.
That’s where Brisk was born — a minimal, fast, and beautiful text-to-speech web app that instantly converts any text into realistic speech.

Our goal was to build something simple, powerful, and accessible to everyone — without complicated installations or expensive APIs

🧠 How We Built It

Frontend & Backend: Streamlit
— used to build the entire web interface with Python

Speech Engine: gTTS (Google Text-to-Speech)
— used for generating high-quality speech output

Language: Python 3.x

Hosting: Can be deployed easily on platforms like Streamlit Cloud or Render

We combined the simplicity of Streamlit with the power of Google’s TTS API to create a smooth, responsive, and reliable experience.

🔮 What’s Next for Brisk

We’re excited to expand Brisk with:

🌐 Multilingual support for regional accents

🎨 Dark/light theme switching for better UX

🎙️ Voice tone and pitch customization

📱 Mobile-responsive design

💬 Integration with PDFs and documents for direct reading aloud
