I built King Coop for independent artists and creators
I’m an independent artist myself, and I wanted to build something that gives smaller artists and creators another place to grow instead of relying completely on algorithms.
So I built King Coop, an iPhone app for artists, musicians, streamers and content creators.
What creators can do
Creators can:
- Create their own public creator profile
- Connect Instagram
- Connect TikTok
- Connect Twitch
- Connect Apple Music
- Gain followers inside the app
- Share their creator page
- Build XP through fan activity
- Get discovered by new users
XP and Featured Creators
I wanted the app to have more interaction than just following somebody.
Fans can support creators by following them, collecting creator cards and sharing creator pages.
That activity helps creators gain XP.
Each week, the creator with the most weekly XP can become the Featured Creator inside the app.
I can also showcase one of their songs or creator links directly on the Home page.
Creator Cards
Creators also have collectible cards that fans can collect and keep in their collection.
I want this to eventually give artists another way to build an actual community around their profile instead of everything being based on follower numbers.
Why I built it
There are already huge social platforms, but getting discovered as a smaller creator can still be difficult.
I’m not trying to replace Instagram, TikTok, Twitch or Apple Music.
King Coop connects those platforms together and gives creators another profile and discovery layer around everything they already do.
The app is live now on the App Store.

I’m looking for more artists and creators to make profiles while the community is still early.
If you try it, I’d also appreciate feedback on the creator profiles, discovery system and XP system.
