Covid-19 Pandemic, Start of Cloud Journey

It all started with the Covid-19, when India declared a nationwide lockdown. My parents were in my hometown, while I was in another state.

I started to use LinkedIn more frequently as I got bored watching web series. Suddenly I came across a LinkedIn post that said " Oracle is providing free certifications and training for it's Cloud Infrastructure"

I'd always wanted to get into cloud technology, and this was the perfect start!

Since the certifications and training were free, I enrolled for the following:

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional

I was able to pass OCI Foundations while working a conventional 9-5 IT job.

The others, on the other hand, were scheduled so closely that I didn't have enough time to prepare and pass the exams.

So this is how I started my cloud journey, all thanks to Covid-19 and OCI for free certifications.
