What I Built
Given the economic situation, and a lot of companies are laying off staff. Most would be applying for jobs, including new grads. Job applications can be stressful and time-consuming. Applicants are trying to tailor their CVs each time to match job descriptions and requirements, having to send the CV and a tailored email to the recruiting manager, and finally keeping track of all the job applications because, according to statistics, job applicants apply to 10-15 jobs a week. This is mentally draining, and it doesn’t even stop here, they still need to send a follow-up email.
I created an AI agent using Runner H that lets me do this.

How I Used Runner H
Runner H lets me easily connect day-to-day applications used. I just have to permit it, and it handles the rest. Also, Runner H lets me choose how involved I want to be in the automation process. For the job application AI agent I built, I chose for Runner H to be totally in control by picking automatic.
Anyone can replicate what I built. First, you have to connect the following apps on the platform and grant Runner H the necessary permissions
Google Docs
Google Sheets
Gmail
After that, you go to the prompt box and input the following prompt
Access my CV from @tool:Google Docs if you can’t use the uploaded file, then based on certain job descriptions and requirements from provided links, rework my CV to fit the job role, then write and structure it into a new @tool:Google Docs Take this doc, convert it to a pdf file and send an @tool:Gmail to this a provided email address on my behalf Finally, keep track of my job application on @tool:Google sheets putting down the job post link, my CV application, and status
For places where you see @ you don’t need to type in everything, input the symbol and a selection displaying the connected apps will pop up.
Use Case & Impact
Automates the full job application lifecycle from parsing job descriptions, tailoring CVs and emails, sending applications, logging each one, to sending follow-ups, allowing applicants to focus on actual interviews and skill development rather than admin tasks.
Perfect for new grads, laid-off workers, and job seekers across the board.
It’s also great for individuals in between jobs but seeking better opportunities, they can mass apply for roles without stress.
