Responsive web design is important in web development because it is the new format the internet world has adopted. A website, or a business for this matter, will not be successful without keeping in touch with mobile users. There are more mobile users now than desktop users. Responsive web design is a format that scales web content to match the screen it is being viewed on. This means the content is viewed successfully no matter the device being used. This method keeps the website in connection with mobile users. It also makes the content easier to work on.
