I've always found that trying to pin a name on something is often one of the most challenging aspects of a project, that it ends up being a roller-coaster of a journey, from the peaks of frothy enthusiasm to bleak despair, and back again.
If you keep at it long enough eventually you'll find something you can live with, and with some luck, something you come to actually appreciate. That's the theory, anyway, but at the outset it can seem like that will never happen.
I'm curious what names people have come up with that seemed awful at the time but which end up becoming something great.
