What I Learned Building It
Pricing model matters more than features. The pay-per-use model removed the biggest friction point — people don't want to commit to a monthly fee for a tool they use occasionally.
AI accuracy has to be near-perfect or users won't trust it. One wrong extraction and you lose the user forever. We spent 60% of development time on accuracy, not features.
Small businesses are underserved by SaaS. Most tools are built for enterprises. The SMB space is wide open for simple, affordable, no-BS tools.
