Comply with the French 2026 e-invoicing mandate with a single API (Factur-X, UBL, Peppol)

Since 1 September 2026, every VAT-registered business in France must be able to receive electronic invoices, and large/mid-size companies must issue them. The required formats are Factur-X, UBL and CII (EN 16931). If you build invoicing, ERP or accounting software, you now need to generate and validate these formats — and most teams don't want to implement 900+ EN 16931 business rules by hand.

Here's how to do it with one HTTP call.

The problem

EN 16931 compliance means generating structured invoices (Factur-X / CII, UBL 2.1, Peppol BIS 3.0, XRechnung), validating them against hundreds of business rules, and handling VIES VAT checks, Peppol reachability and e-reporting. Doing it yourself is weeks of work plus maintenance every time the rules change.

One JSON in, every compliant format out

bash
curl -X POST \
'https://e-invoicing-compliance-suite.p.rapidapi.com/v1/einvoicing/validate' \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-H 'X-RapidAPI-Key: YOUR_KEY' \
-H 'X-RapidAPI-Host: e-invoicing-compliance-suite.p.rapidapi.com' \
-d '{
"invoice_number": "F2026-0001",
"issue_date": "2026-09-20",
"currency": "EUR",
"seller": { "name": "ACME SAS", "vat_id": "FR12345678901", "address": { "country": "FR" } },
"buyer": { "name": "Client SRL", "vat_id": "BE0987654321", "address": { "country": "BE" } },
"lines": [ { "name": "Consulting", "quantity": 1, "unit_price": 500, "vat_rate": 20 } ]
}'

Send the same JSON to /convert/factur-x and you get a ready EN 16931 Factur-X (CII) XML. Validation runs the official CEF EN 16931 Schematron (artefacts 1.3.16).

What's included (one key, 12 endpoints)

Validate (EN 16931 + advanced VAT / rounding / VATEX checks)
Convert to Factur-X / CII, UBL 2.1, Peppol BIS 3.0, XRechnung, ZUGFeRD
Factur-X hybrid PDF/A-3
Real EU VAT verification via VIES
Peppol reachability lookup
B2G routing (Chorus Pro / PPF, XRechnung Leitweg-ID, SDI)
E-reporting for B2C / international transactions

Deterministic, sub-second, privacy-first (invoices analyzed in memory, never stored).
