New React Course Announcement

We have some exciting news for you today!

We are launching a brand new React course that we have been working hard on for a long time. It has some of the existing content, but most of the lessons are completely new. It covers more React concepts and uses the most up-to-date tools in the industry.

The old lessons have been labeled as "OLD" so you can easily tell them apart; they will be gone by 24th July 2023. You can still find the old lessons in our curriculum repository on GitHub. If you were doing the current React lessons or had finished them, we strongly suggest you start over with the new course. We promise it will be worth it. You don't have to redo the projects.

The Odin Project is a community project, and this course would not have been possible without its contributors. They deserve a big round of applause. The work is not over yet, the course needs to be updated and improved regularly, and this is where you can help. From fixing a typo to adding a new lesson, every contribution matters!

Just wanted to say how much you guys and gals rock! I completed most of TOP up to the end of Ruby on Rails, but I have taken a long break from it since I wanted to work on my own projects. But I never would have gotten to where I am in my web development knowledge without yall. The way you pushed me to learn on my own but still gave a guiding hand really helped give me focus to what I was trying to achieve. After hearing about this new React course, I am going to pick up where I left off at Advanced html/css and then move on to Javascript and React before I start school in the Fall.
