Smart IIoT solutions are what I call fun!
It's fulfilling to see a fleet of assets (millions of devices) communicate with each other. Assets that manage themself and interact with other systems and networks.
Seeing how the whole fleet slowly comes to live ... while more and more assets join ... the network and start chatting ... sending updates ... how they are doing today ... or maybe complains ... I'm too hot ... or maybe ... I'm running out of juice.
In other words a technical conductor in the IoT world :)

How did I find this place? I came across some insightful Dev.to articles while researching solutions to a pagination feature.
Why start a Dev account? I've noticed I've been consuming a lot of tech material, but I haven't contributed much in written material. My goal is to balance my in-out ratio (it's probably like 90/10 currently).
Dev.to also looks like a good place to make friends, help people by sharing knowledge, and practice creative and technical writing.
In addition, one of my online mentors taught that it's a good strategy to describe a problem in your own words before tackling it. That process helps you solidify and check your understanding. I think the same principle applies to a lot of things we've learned.
