Today I got a new laptop. It's small, but fast, and I can do so much more with this one. It's an HP Pavilion x360 with a tablet mode. It's small, but it's perfect for my uses. Look for more code. More blog posts. More gamedev. More everything. Woot!

Do yourself a favor and pick up the best deal you can find on a widescreen monitor on Amazon. I purchased a 32-inch LG and a 32-inch Viotek on Amazon for $180 each and it's a huge game changer having that much screen space. I have never heard of Viotek, but it is a much nicer monitor than the LG which surprised me.
Thanks for the advice. I need to get a monitor for my son, so I'll keep this one in mind.
