(Logic Gates & Living Systems: Why I’m Moving to the Kernel) For a long time, I’ve felt like a high-speed machine running a custom, low-level kernel designed for direct hardware access and complex pattern matching. Yet, the world often tries to force a bloated, high-level web browser app on top of it.

The "User Interface" of daily life: the emails, the small talk, the fluffy layers boring sections. is just unoptimized interrupts to my processor. My brain wants to go deep into the source code, but the envrionment demands I stay in the shallow layers where logic doesn't always track.

(The Shift from High-Level to Hardware) I’m not just changing jobs. I’m reconfiguring my system. I’m moving away from the bloated apps of software engineering and diving into the raw metal of computer engineering.

Biology taught me that nature doesn't rely on "software patches" for security. Our bodies actually have physical gates, nerves and synapses that transport signals with the efficiency of C++ to prevent system failure. Why shouldn't our AI and robotics follow the same blueprint?

(Introducing: Hardware-Rooted Ethics) This is the core of why I am going back to school. We spend so much time trying to teach AI ethics through high-level programming, but software can be compromised.

I’m exploring Hardware rooted Ethics: building safety constraints directly into the physical logic gates and kernels. If the "morality" of a robot is etched into its hardware, it cannot perform a harmful action, even if its high-level software is hijacked. It’s security at the most fundamental level.

(The Staging Area) This blog (and the podcast to follow soon.... ) is my staging area. It’s where I batch queue complex ideas, process the "interrupts," and translate low-level logic into a conversation we can all have.
I’m no longer spending my processing power translating my system for the world. I'm finding a system that works for me. Building something from the ground up!

(The end) Next week, in my next post, I will dip my toe into the more technical side. And I will share how the struggle to clean my room inspired my next post... I will share how I think this translated into the biology perspective (vacules) the daily life (cleaning) perspective and the data and algorithms perspective!

(shoutout) To the lady at portos, that asked me if I was in tech, and then I fixed her simple url access problem and she said oh you have a good eye. I think that reaffirmed me to post this. So thanks!
