# My AWS Day 1 Journey ☁️🚀

Today, I started my AWS learning journey and explored some important concepts of cloud computing through hands-on activities.

One of the most interesting concepts was “Pizza as a Service 2.0” 🍕, which made understanding cloud service models much easier. From making pizza at home to having a complete party managed for us, the responsibility gradually shifts from the user to the service provider:

On-Premise → IaaS → PaaS → SaaS → AIaaS

I also learned about AWS Pay-as-You-Go, where we pay based on the resources we actually use.

☁️ AWS Concepts Covered

  • AWS Root User & IAM User
  • AWS Regions
  • Amazon S3
  • Amazon EC2
  • Networking & Security
  • Amazon CloudFront
  • AWS Cloud Quest
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner & AI Practitioner learning paths

🪣 Hands-on with Amazon S3

As part of the Day 1 task, I created an S3 bucket and deployed my portfolio website using static website hosting.

The process included:

  1. Creating an S3 bucket
  2. Uploading portfolio files
  3. Configuring static website hosting
  4. Understanding bucket policies and public access
  5. Exploring CloudFront
  6. Connecting S3 with CloudFront

We also had a fun Rhyming Game Contest 🎮 and learned about documenting our work through GitHub Pull Requests, LinkedIn, and DEV.to.

One important takeaway from today:

CGPA can matter, but practical skills, projects, consistency, and the ability to build and learn matter too.

Day 1 was all about understanding the cloud foundation and getting hands-on with AWS. Excited to continue this journey and build more real-world projects! 🚀
