It is a Bengaluru-based Fintech company that specializes in enhancing retail investments in fixed-income securities, especially corporate bonds. The company also offers retail investors access to investment opportunities conventionally at the disposal of institutional investors. In July 2023, Wint Wealth received the Online Bond Platform Provider (OBPP) license from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). This license enables the company to continue facilitating investments in corporate bonds for retail investors, adhering to SEBI's regulations introduced in November 2022.
In November 2023, Wint Wealth acquired a majority stake in Chandigarh-based non-banking finance company (NBFC) Ambium Finserve, after which they received an official approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This acquisition grants Wint Wealth an NBFC license, allowing it to expand its offerings under the brand name Wint Capital. Wint Capital focuses on wholesale lending to growth-stage NBFCs and plans to offer listed corporate bonds to retail investors.
