I totally agree, the Scrum Guide is beautiful in it's simplicity, under 20 pages it can meticulously describe a process the powers so many companies worldwide.

And yes, regarding TACOS, many organizations try the so-called "scrum like", the scrum guide define a series of scrum values that are key for a successful implementation of the process. In order for scrum be implemented there needs to be support of the management of the organisations.
