NanoBanana or Seedream4.0? Why Choose When You Can Have Both

AI-generated imagery is taking the creative world by storm. Lately, Google’s Nano Banana and ByteDance’s Seedream4.0 have become hot topics among designers and AI enthusiasts.

Instead of debating which is “better,” I use Textideo—a platform that integrates multiple top-tier AI models seamlessly. Now, I can compare different models in a single workspace without switching back and forth.

When you create a project, the chat window is on the left, and the canvas is on the right. Upload images, select them in the preview, and specify detailed requests. It’s efficient, intuitive, and keeps your workflow smooth.

E-commerce Use Case

Creating product images for e-commerce can be expensive and time-consuming. AI simplifies this process, especially when generating large volumes of content.

Example: I uploaded two reference images:

  1. A girl holding a phone
  2. The new iPhone 17 (lavender color—stunning!)
  • Seedream4.0 replaced the phone but the color was slightly off.
  • Nano Banana produced smooth, natural results, perfectly matching the original hue.

With Textideo, you can test multiple models and use whichever delivers the best result. Why choose one when you can have them all?

Figure Modeling

Nano Banana has been a hit since launch.

Example: I used Seedream4.0 and Nano Banana to create a 1/7-scale commercial figure on a desk, with a transparent base and packaging box.

  • Seedream4.0 sometimes requires multiple iterations to get it right.
  • Nano Banana delivers more natural results, though minor imperfections can appear.

Experimentation is key—the fun lies in refining and iterating until you get exactly what you want.

High-Resolution Photo Restoration

I restored black-and-white photos of 1990s Hollywood stars like Brenda Fricker, Juliette Lewis, Nicole Kidman, and Demi Moore—and colorized them:

  • Seedream4.0: Fixes scratches, tears, and fading; enhances color and contrast.
  • Nano Banana: Minimal rendering, respects the original photo style.

Merchandise & IP Design

I used personal pet photos to create six IP concepts: playing guitar, wearing a bow tie, holding a magic wand, etc.

One image became the core for a merchandise line: tote bags, mugs, phone cases, pillows, and keychains. Both models delivered distinct styles, giving flexibility for further production.

Hairstyle Variations

Tested five different hairstyles: French chin-length bob, loose waves with highlights, high ponytail, asymmetrical pixie cut, and Korean air bangs.

  • Both Seedream4.0 and Nano Banana handled the transformations well.
  • Minor differences appeared in facial consistency or arm placement, but overall results were accurate and visually appealing.

Multi-Image Compositing

Combining multiple characters while maintaining outfit and appearance consistency enables new poses and scenarios:

  • Nano Banana produced more natural compositions.
  • Seedream4.0 sometimes introduced slight stiffness but was still effective.

Why Textideo?

The value of AI-generated imagery lies in iterative experimentation. There’s no “best” tool—only the one that fits your workflow.

Textideo allows seamless switching between top-tier models, including:

Adjust models based on your needs for optimal results. Batch image generation supports posters, memes, and video assets in one click, boosting efficiency dramatically.

The essence of creation? Finding that perfect result through every experiment.

We sincerely invite everyone to try it out and share your honest feedback.
