I think it really depends on how many new web developers there are because of the pandemic. There might be enough displaced web developers and new entrants who learned because of being stuck at home to offset the increase in demand. Tough to guess the supply/demand curve changes without looking at numbers.
Can speak for the German market.. Of course there is fear and layoffs (or projects on hold) but many many clients noticed there're technical debt in terms of digitalisation/ online performance..
So, with a higher demand the price will increase.
Stay dynamic and you (and your clients) will survive this together.. 👍
