Learning takes time.
DO ask questions from others
your senior colleagues went through the same mistakes and have found efficient and correct ways to approach problems dont ‘go it alone’
Do not sum up your entire existence and worth in your ability to code
we are all unique and all bring more than just refactored logic statements and ability to pump out lines-per-minute to a team
Everyone makes mistakes at the beginning - there is a lot to learn, a lot to take in, and as much as we all preach it - there are no stupid questions, yet I was still too afraid to ask.
Just go at your own pace - yes your seniors will give you the impression ‘time-is-money’, and indeed in a business you need to be more efficient than your competitors.
BUT that is not your stress to have, your ability and speed will COME WITH TIME and above all you actually need to MAKE MISTAKES and even DO THINGS THE LONG WAY to appreciate the better solutions and techniques.
Again, learning takes time, don’t sweat it you’ll get there.
To all the beginners: you’re doing better than you think. Keep going.
