Why it matters:
As more businesses adopt Agentforce and AI agents inside their Salesforce org, having a single, vetted place to discover and install both traditional apps and AI agents removes a lot of friction, especially for admins who previously had to evaluate security and compatibility across multiple disconnected marketplaces.
If you're a Salesforce admin, developer, or ISV partner, this is worth understanding now. It's likely to become the default distribution channel going forward.
