I'm Akhouri Anmol Kumar, 13 years old, founder and CEO of Akhouri Systems. I didn't wait for a job, a degree, or permission. I picked up Python, started shipping, and now I have four products you can download today, plus a beast one in development.
This post is the full tour. Every app, every link, every feature. By the end, I'm hoping you'll have at least one of them installed. (Ideally all of them. I'm not shy about it.)

1. 🖼️ APIC: Studio-grade editing, zero upload
APIC stands for Advanced Image Processing Center. The idea is simple: your photos are yours. So APIC does everything on your device, and nothing leaves it.

Open it, drop in an image, and start editing. To export your work, sign in with Google. It takes one tap, and I only ask for your name, email and photo.
What the web version does
- ✏️ Edit: filters (Grayscale, Sepia, Cyberpunk, Vintage, Noir, Infrared, Moonlight, Sunset and more), plus brightness, contrast, saturation, blur, rotate and flip, all live on canvas
- 🎚️ Advanced controls: black point, white point, gamma, sharpen, temperature, vignette and hue
- ✂️ Crop: drag right on the image
- 🪄 Remove Object: paint over something and it's gone, using an AI inpainting model (MI-GAN) that runs on-device
- 📐 Resize: exact pixels or percent, with step-down resampling so it doesn't look muddy
- 🔄 Convert: PNG, JPEG, WebP, BMP, ICO and PDF
- 🗜️ Compress: give it a target file size and it searches for the highest quality that fits
- 🧠 Remove Background: on-device AI segmentation, best on portraits, products and pets

The desktop app has a sidebar with Home, Edit, Convert, Compress and Search modes, all in a dark theme.
🎯 Challenge: take a photo, remove the background, compress it under 100 KB and convert it to WebP. Time yourself. Then tell me your time in the comments.
2. 📝 ANOTE: The Notepad Killer
Notepad hasn't changed in decades. ANOTE is what I wanted it to be.

3. 🧮 ACALCU v3: the most customizable calculator I could build
Calculators are boring. I decided to make one that isn't.

4. 🔐 ATLOCK v4: Total Security Suite
ATLOCK is my security project. Version 4 packs five modules into one app:
- 🔒 Lockdown: a screen lock with countdown and OS hardening
- 🛡️ File Guard: Windows NTFS ACL-level file locking
- 🗝️ Password Vault: encrypted storage (Fernet AES) for emails, UPI details and PINs, with the master password derived through PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 at 200k iterations
- 📸 Intruder Ops: photo capture on the first wrong attempt, a 10-second video on later wrong attempts, plus an alarm sound
- ⚙️ Settings: toggles and gallery controls
🎯 Challenge: lock a folder, then try to open it. Come back and tell me how it went.
5. 🚧 ATLOCK v5: what I'm building next
v5 isn't public yet, but here's where it's headed. The security core is being rebuilt from the ground up:
- Chunked AES-256-GCM encryption for files and folders
- Sealed local state protected with Windows DPAPI
- Optional TOTP and FIDO2 hardware-key (YubiKey-style) support
- A command-line toolkit for verifying, shredding and rotating keys
- Honest security notes built into the code, because no pure-Python tool can promise more than it can deliver
It's in development, so no download yet. Follow along so you don't miss the launch.
🧭 Why I'm doing this
I'm 13, and here's what I've learned so far:
- You don't need to be "old enough." You need to ship.
- Products beat plans. Four apps are worth more than forty ideas.
- Feedback is fuel. Every bug report makes the next version better.
Akhouri Systems is my way of proving that a small team (okay, one person) with a laptop and a lot of stubbornness can build real software.
