I'm Akhouri Anmol Kumar — a 13-year-old software developer from Jharkhand, India, and the founder of Akhouri Systems.
I started building software because I was frustrated. Every app I used had problems nobody bothered to fix. Windows Notepad hadn't changed in decades. Lock apps could be bypassed in 3 seconds. Calculators had zero personality.
So I built my own.
In the last few months, I shipped 4 Windows desktop applications completely solo:
ATLOCK — A total security suite. System lockdown, file guard, password vault, and security hardening. Once locked, there is no escape. Alt+Tab blocked. Task Manager killed on sight.
ANOTE — A premium text editor. Multi-tab, syntax highlighting, password lock, translator, meme canvas. Everything Notepad should have been.
ACALCU — The world's most customizable calculator. Right-click any button. Change colors, fonts, even set videos as button backgrounds.
APIC — Advanced Image Processing Center. Edit, convert, compress, batch process — all in one app.
Every single line of code written by me. No team. No funding. No mentor.
I named the company Akhouri Systems because I wanted it to feel like a real company — because it is one.
We build what others forgot to fix.
This is just the beginning.

I downloaded ACALCU and spent some time looking through it.
First of all, congratulations. Building and shipping a desktop application at 13 is already an achievement by itself.
A few things I liked:
A few ideas for future improvements:
My favorite part is that you’re not just learning programming — you’re building complete products and asking users for feedback. That’s a habit that will help you far more than any specific technology.
Keep building.
I am implementing all your suggestion in reality + 30themes prebuilt for you
Yes, I installed ACALCU and that’s why I was able to give specific feedback. 😊
What I like most is that you’re already thinking about user feedback and future versions. Many developers focus only on writing code. Product builders listen to users, improve the product, and release new versions.
My advice for V3.0 and beyond: keep a simple list of every suggestion you receive and look for patterns. When multiple users ask for the same feature, that’s usually a strong signal about what to build next.
And don’t worry too much about making everything perfect. Shipping, getting feedback, and improving is how great products are built.
Good luck with the V3.0 release!
yea, i will note your words. I am right now creating ACALCU v3.0 while reading your suggestion, your suggestions are great for me and you too, for me because it will eventually help ACALCU to be one of the best calculator and you because you will get the right calculator for your desktop. in screenshot your wallpaper looks cool btw.
Thank you, Anmol. 😊
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that features attract users, but listening to users keeps them.
The fact that you’re already collecting feedback, planning improvements, and interacting with people who use your software puts you ahead of many developers much older than you.
And thank you for the wallpaper compliment! 😄
Good luck with ACALCU V3.0. I’ll be curious to see what you build during the next few years, not just the next few versions.
Thank you! 😊
ACALCU started as a calculator, but for me it's also a PyQt6 experimentation project involving custom widgets, theme engines, multimedia elements, and configuration systems. User feedback helps me refine both the codebase and the UX.
I appreciate you trying it out and sharing your thoughts.
If you dont mind then will you be like my CSO?(cheif suggestion officer) or something like this role. like Thanos in avengers i am collecting my team instead of stones. i have already CMO, me myself CEO, I Have CCO too, if you like the CSO post then you can join but currently akhouri systems has no budget so no salary
Thank you, Anmol. 😊
That’s a very generous offer, but I think the best role I can play is being an occasional user and giving feedback when I can. Keep building your own vision, keep listening to your users, and keep improving your products one version at a time. Who knows? A few years from now, when Akhouri Systems has grown, maybe you’ll be the one giving advice to the next generation of young developers.
yea like unofficially but if you wish then CSO post is ready for you.
Hey, mustafa ERBAY
download ACALCU V3-github.com/Akhouri-Anmol-Kumar/ACA...
And check it out. It is not totally finished under V3 there will be 3 updates v3.1, v3.2 and v3.3 you are currently seeing the V3 testing version. which i created for you as this will be base model of V3 series.
After using v3 is there any improvements or new feature addition required?
Hi Anmol 😊,
First of all, congratulations on how quickly you’re iterating. Going from feedback to implementation in just a few days is something many software teams struggle to do.
Looking at V3, I think you’re moving in the right direction. The customization features definitely make ACALCU stand out from typical calculator applications.
A few ideas I’d consider for future versions:
• Add a “Productivity Mode” with a cleaner, distraction-free interface for users who prefer functionality over customization.
• Allow users to save and share themes as files.
• Add memory statistics and a calculation history panel with search/filter capabilities.
• Create a portable version that runs without installation.
• Add a small “What’s New” window after updates so users can immediately see new features.
But honestly, the biggest improvement isn’t a feature.
Keep talking to users.
Most developers spend 90% of their time writing code. Product builders spend time understanding what users actually want. The fact that you’re already doing that at 13 is impressive.
And no, I’m still not accepting the CSO title 😄, but I’ll happily remain an occasional tester and feedback provider whenever I have time.
Keep building. I’m curious to see what ACALCU looks like by the time you release V5 or V10.
Thanks, your suggestions are literally too good. Akhouri systems will always listen there each user's demands till akhouri systems is active. and yea its okay to not accept CSO but for me as an Founder I will make sure that your suggestions are as important as CSO's suggestions.
and ACALCU v4 is not planned for now. because currently akhouri systems means I'm working on marketing because my downloads are kind off slow(120downloads in 1 month) this sounds good maybe for many people but for me it is very slow as i have only 2years to proof my dad that i can be greater than him.(if akhouri systems failed in 2 years means till i reach class 10th then sadly akhouri systems will be closed. but if by my hardwork and dedication akhouri system became a known desktop software company in the region then i will continue after 2years also. my goals in no.s-10k downloads till class 10th minimum required and revenue till class 9th.)
Hope, Mustafa ERBAY will continue giving suggestions and improvments till akhouri systems is alive.

Thanks for suggestions. I guarantee I will work on improvements. You are currently using ACALCU V2.0. whenever I launch ACALCU V3.0 then your suggestion will be implemented in this app. Till it got released you enjoy acalcu v2.0
Don't forget to download v3.0 from website or GitHub(projected release date-19th june 2026)..
Its my summer holidays from school so I am kind off free. You are my first user who sended me big improvement advise and this advise will became reality for sure. Its akhouri systems guarantee. If you wish then you can try more apps of akhouri systems. And suggest improvements
What impresses me most isn’t the number of applications you’ve built.
It’s that you started by noticing problems and trying to solve them. A lot of people learn programming by following tutorials. Building something because you’re frustrated by an existing product is a very different mindset. That’s often where interesting products come from. My advice: keep building, but also keep talking to users. The code teaches you how to build software. Users teach you what is worth building.
Looking forward to seeing where Akhouri Systems goes next.
Thanks for your comment. your support encourages me for akhouri system's future growth & I will keep focus on interacting with Users. nd your this line-"looking forward to seeing where akhouri systems goes next" make me motivated.
and 1 question from my side-have you installed my any app? if yes then tell me some suggestion and improvements
