A few months ago I re-read Tim Ferriss' The 4-Hour Workweek and was curious what the people mentioned in the book think of the book today, if they still practice the principles from the book, etc. Many of the tools in the book are a bit outdated, but the concepts are still sound.

Decided to reach out to some of them and ended up conducting a variety of interviews with the entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and lifehackers in the book. tl:dr; Most people are still doing what they did in the early 2000s when Tim first met with them. I've read Tim's book and it was entertaining and inspiring read. However, I think people don't realize how hard it is start a business let alone being able to use the tactics he describe in his book in a timely matter. You have to first waste 60 hours in a week before realizing that those hours can be delegated off to an automation or a VA.
