I've been building products for almost 15 years.
Some failed.
Some survived.
A few grew beyond anything I expected.
It started with design tools, then branding products like DanceLogo, later AI video generation with RenderLion, and most recently AI discovery platforms like AiToolsObserver.
One thing I've learned
Building the product is rarely the hardest part.
Getting people to discover, understand, and trust it is.
Over the years I've gone through almost every founder emotion imaginable:
- Excitement after launching
- Months with zero traction
- Shipping features nobody used
- Rebuilding entire products
- Doubting whether to continue
- Finding product-market fit in unexpected places
Today I'm still building, still learning, and still making mistakes.
Lately, I've become fascinated by a new challenge: how AI is changing discovery itself. More people are asking ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity instead of traditional search engines.
It feels like we're watching the rules of visibility change in real time.
I'm joining DEV to learn from other builders, share experiences from the trenches, and hopefully contribute something useful along the way.
What are you building right now? 👋
