I passed the Microsoft Azure AI Engineer (AI-102) exam on April 4, 2025.
Overall, the exam was quite tough but not exceedingly so. I studied for about 6 months utilizing the Microsoft course and the hands-on labs in that course, as well as practice tests from SkillCertPro, which costs $20 for about 12 tests.
The exam requires a lot of knowledge on Microsoft's AI services and which ones are the best in a given scenario. You should know the limitations and capabilities of each service, as well as the steps to implement and manage them.
The difficulty lies is how long it takes to analyze each question thoroughly. With a little more than 1.5 hours to answer all questions, I passed with just over 72% correct, and I had 7 questions unanswered! I've never taken an exam and had questions unanswered. The questions require a bit of thought (as you can imagine), but really it just comes down to how well you know each AI service and when they're useful versus when they're not.

Congrats on passing AI-102 — that’s a solid achievement, especially with the time pressure and depth of Microsoft’s AI services. I took a similar path and agree, the key is knowing which service fits which scenario, especially under exam conditions. If you’re looking to go beyond vendor-specific tools and build a broader understanding of AI/ML concepts (especially with more hands-on projects), I’d recommend checking out aicerts.ai Their certifications focus more on real-world applications and portfolio-building, which can really complement something like AI-102. I found it helpful to pair cloud-specific certs with vendor-neutral skills to stay flexible across roles and platforms.
Dumps4Azure is a lifesaver! I just passed my AI-102 certification with the help of their well-organized and up-to-date dumps.
Passcerthub AI-102 PDFs are goldmines. Their testing engine simulates the real exam experience perfectly. Verified questions ensured my success!
