Before a follow-up conversation, the difficult part is often remembering what was already discussed. Was that change requested, agreed, or only suggested?
OGAD (Off Grid AI Desktop) helps you return to retained notes about a person on your Mac. Its Pro work history links captured activity to people, so you can review a timeline and check available sources before you respond. With local models selected, you can do this without sending the notes to a cloud AI service.

The record starts with material you chose to capture or record. OGAD cannot recover a conversation that was never saved, and a short captured note is not a complete message archive.
Prepare with the history of one person
In Entities, search for the person's name and open their record. The story gives you a summary, while Timeline lets you review individual observations in order.
That combination is useful when you need to recover context without rereading everything. Start with the summary, then find the note that supports the particular detail you need.
For example, you might want to check three things before the next discussion:
- Which version or change did you discuss?
- Was a next step agreed, and who was expected to take it?
- What was still unresolved?
Treat these as questions for the retained record. If the source does not contain an answer, leave that point open rather than turning a likely explanation into a remembered fact.

How does the history get there?
After you opt into screen capture, OGAD can process supported activity into notes and associate recognized people with those notes. Meeting recordings you deliberately create can also contribute summaries to the work history after processing.
Screen capture does not automatically record every call. Meeting audio has a separate recording workflow. A meeting summary depends on the audio that was actually captured, and an incomplete recording can miss another participant's side of the conversation.
For local processing, download the needed models first and keep the route on your Mac. Once the required setup is ready, reviewing the retained local record does not need a cloud transcription service.
Get to the source before you write the reply
- Open Entities and use Find… to search for the person's name.
- Read The story to regain context.
- Find the relevant date or subject in Timeline.
- Select Why on an entry with attached evidence. Check the available captured text, window, or link.
- For an important statement from a recorded meeting, return to the meeting transcript and check its wording.
A useful result is one or two facts you can support before you continue the conversation. You do not need to turn the whole history into another long summary.
If you need exact words, copy them from the source you checked. An AI summary is a paraphrase, even when it sounds confident.
Start capturing useful context for the next time
If you have no retained history yet, choose a normal work session to begin with. Install OGAD and activate Pro, then prepare the local processing models.
Review Settings → Setup & health → System permissions. Enable capture through Settings → Capture or Replay, and check the visible Capturing state. Use Pause capture before material you do not want added to the record.
After the session, allow processing to finish and find a person you know appeared in the work. Check the associated note against what you remember. This gives you a clear first result and lets you correct an association early.
When a name or note is wrong
A misspelled name can split one person's history across multiple records. Correct the record name, and use Merge only when you have confirmed that the records refer to the same person.
A note can also be linked to the wrong person. Move to another entity and Remove from this entity let you correct the association. Removing an association is different from deleting the captured source.
If the person record has no useful match, try Search with a distinctive phrase from the discussion. Search works with retained, indexed material; it does not fetch missing conversations from every external app.
Resume with the facts in front of you
Download OGAD for Mac and build a local record from work you choose to capture. Before the next follow-up, open the person's timeline, check the relevant source, and continue from what was actually recorded.
