Fellou is an "Agentic AI Browser" that "takes automated web action", says its home page. Deep Action runs multi-step tasks. Deep Search writes research reports. You can review and edit the plan before it runs. Each task spends credits, which Fellou calls Sparks.
Off Grid AI Desktop (OGAD) runs browser tasks without a meter. It works in the Chrome you already use, through an extension. The model that plans and reads runs on your own computer, so a task costs nothing extra. And Pro is one payment.

Checked 30 October 2026 against Fellou's home page, pricing and download pages. Fellou's pages do not say where its models run, so we leave that open. Off Grid AI's price is a limited-time lifetime offer, down from $119.
What it costs over three years
Fellou's free plan gives new users 1,000 Sparks once, about 4 tasks. Paid plans add Sparks each month. Plus gives about 8 tasks, Pro about 20, and Ultra is unlimited for a limited time. These are the yearly prices.
| 1 year | 3 years | |
|---|---|---|
| Fellou Plus, billed yearly | $192 | $576 |
| Fellou Pro, billed yearly | $384 | $1,152 |
| Fellou Ultra, billed yearly | $1,920 | $5,760 |
| Off Grid AI Pro, lifetime | $79.99 | $79.99 |
Fellou notes that Spark use varies with how complex the workflow is. Off Grid AI has nothing to count.
How a browser task runs on your computer
- Install the Off Grid AI extension in Chrome and keep OGAD running.
- In the extension, open Settings > Desktop and choose Pair with desktop. Check that the six words match, then approve in OGAD.
- Turn on Agent and ask for a result you can check, such as a table with source links.
- Watch the plan and each step in OGAD. Correct it if it reads the wrong section, or press Stop.
- When the task wants to send, create or delete something, OGAD shows the action. You approve it or reject it.
The task uses the sessions you are already signed in to. The extension refuses one-time codes, card numbers and CAPTCHAs in code. For a full walk-through, see how to automate tasks in your signed-in browser with local AI.
The browser is one part of Pro
Fellou automates the web. Off Grid AI Pro covers your whole working day, on your own hardware:
- Memory. Your screens, meetings, mail and documents become one local memory you can search and ask.
- Meetings without a bot. Calls are recorded, transcribed and summarised on your computer.
- Actions you approve. It drafts replies and issues through Gmail, Linear, Jira and Notion. Nothing goes out without your yes.
- God, your chief of staff. A morning brief, meeting prep, routines on a schedule, and the to-dos people owe you.
- Reflect, Vault, Clipboard and Sync. Where your day went, passwords encrypted on your disk, every copy searchable, and your phone and computer in sync, device to device.
All of it is in the same $79.99, on up to 5 devices.
When Fellou is the better pick
Fellou is built for long research runs. Deep Search pulls many sources into a report, and tasks can run in a background workspace while you browse. It schedules recurring tasks, and its Eko framework lets developers build custom agents. If your work is mostly public-web research and you want a browser made for it, Fellou is worth a try.
OGAD needs a computer that can run a local model. Most Apple silicon Macs and recent PCs can, and the app shows which models fit. A local model can be slower than a large cloud model on big research jobs. If your tasks touch client portals, internal tools or private accounts, keep the model on your own machine.
Switch in ten minutes
- Download OGAD for Mac, Windows or Linux.
- Get Pro and enter your key in the app.
- In Models, download a text model that can use tools. The app shows which fit your computer.
- Add the Off Grid AI extension to Chrome and pair it with the desktop.
- Run a short reading task and check the result against the pages.
