If you only need local dictation on a Mac, Superwhisper's free plan costs nothing. The comparison above is for people who want Pro features or more than dictation.
Same local idea, different job
Both apps run Whisper on your own machine. Superwhisper's FAQ adds that offline models "only run really well on Apple Silicon macs", and Intel Macs work best with its cloud models. OGAD has the same honest limit: local speed depends on your computer and the model you pick. The app shows which models fit before you download.
