I Built a Free Online PDF Toolkit That Doesn't Require Sign Up

Every day, millions of people need to edit, merge, split, compress, or convert PDF files. Unfortunately, many online PDF tools either lock features behind expensive subscriptions, add watermarks, or require users to create an account before they can even get started.

I wanted to build something different.

That's why I created PDFIsLove — a free, privacy-focused online PDF toolkit designed to make working with PDF files quick and simple.

🚀 Features

Currently, PDFIsLove offers tools such as:

Merge PDF files
Split PDF documents
Compress PDFs
PDF to Word
Word to PDF
JPG to PDF
PDF to JPG
Rotate PDF pages
Delete PDF pages
Organize PDF pages
Protect PDF with a password
Unlock password-protected PDFs
QR Code Generator
OCR (Extract editable text from scanned PDFs)
Why I Built It

Most online PDF websites have one or more of these problems:

Too many advertisements
Daily usage limits
Watermarked downloads
Slow processing
Mandatory registration
Confusing interfaces

My goal was to create a clean, fast, and user-friendly experience that anyone could use without unnecessary barriers.

Tech Stack

The project is built using modern web technologies, including:

TypeScript
Modern frontend architecture
Serverless deployment
Browser-based PDF processing where possible
Optimized UI for desktop and mobile devices
What's Coming Next

I'm actively working on adding more powerful features, including:

Advanced PDF editing
AI-powered document assistance
Digital signatures
Batch processing
Additional OCR improvements
More document conversion tools
I'd Love Your Feedback
