Making Cloud Security and SOC 2 Evidence Less Painful for Startups

Building a startup is already hard. Security shouldn’t make it harder.

As a SaaS startup grows, security can get complicated quickly. There are more systems to monitor, more events to investigate, and more enterprise customers asking you to prove your security posture before signing a deal.

That’s the problem we’re working on with DELTARQ.

We’re building a security operations platform designed for lean teams, bringing three important areas into one workflow:

Cloud threat detection: Identify suspicious activity across cloud environments, starting with AWS.

Incident response: Streamline response workflows with SOAR-style playbooks and approvals when needed.

SOC 2 and security review evidence: Make it easier to organize security evidence as teams operate, rather than scrambling to collect screenshots at the last minute.

The goal is simple: help growing teams improve visibility, respond to potential threats, and keep security evidence organized without adding unnecessary complexity or operational overhead.

We’re still building, learning, and figuring out what works best for growing teams. I’d genuinely love to hear from people dealing with these challenges firsthand.

If you’re building or running a SaaS startup, which of these is the biggest challenge for your team?

Monitoring cloud security risks

Investigating and responding to incidents

Preparing for SOC 2 or enterprise security reviews

I’d love to hear your experience and what you wish were easier.

Connecting security events, response actions, and approvals while protecting sensitive data is important, especially for small teams. These are valuable considerations as we continue building DELTARQ.
