This past weekend, I coded a 3D-CSS demo inspired by Mobile navigation system, by Dzianis Rakhuba.
It may not look like much at first, but it is more fun and entertaining when switching between a 2D and 3D visualization (by clicking on the Start and Close button).

No, but seeing the things people create with threeJS make me want to try it

No. But maybe I could replicate the process? I may have a video on how I've done other 3D CSS demos, though. You should check the work from Amit Sheen or Jhey Tompkins; they do amazing things with 3D CSS.
