Impossible to say, it depends on where you apply. I guess the big players may have hard requirements for a CS degree. Startups may not. If you convince your employer you are good I don't think it should be a barrier. If you have a successful project you can show, that will help a lot.

Not impossible at all. Most of the best devs I've hired don't have CS degrees... or even ANY degrees. If the hirers know what they're doing, they'll pick somebody who can do the job - regardless of expensive bits of paper.

You donβt need a degree for a good majority of developer roles, but youβll need experience or a bootcamp certificate to demonstrate you have the fundamentals.
