What I Learned After 1,000+ Notes in Obsidian

After collecting more than 1,000 notes in Obsidian, I started questioning how useful my knowledge management system had actually become.

During a review, I discovered inconsistent metadata, overlapping tags, disconnected notes, and dashboards that weren't showing the information I expected.

I recently revisited my Obsidian setup and documented what I learned, including practical improvements to templates, metadata, links, and Dataview queries.

I also shared a demo vault with examples you can explore and adapt.
