Gemini stills and Veo / Flow clips often come with a small sparkle in the corner. Google is rolling out a Media watermark toggle, but it only applies to new generations — and in India it often needs Ultra. Files you already exported keep the mark.
This is the path I use.
1. Export the original file
Download the PNG/JPG from Gemini (or the MP4 from Veo / Flow). Don’t screenshot the player. Don’t send it through WhatsApp first.
2. Instant, in the browser
If it’s a still, you don’t need an account.
- Open unmark.ink
- Drop the image (Instant)
- Download the PNG
Cleanup runs in the tab. That’s the free path.
3. Video is different
A Veo or Google Flow clip has the sparkle on every frame. Instant won’t do that. Drop the MP4 on the same site; Cloud keeps it in Library until you download.
4. What this is not
Unmark is built for the Google sparkle, not every logo, caption, or stock bug. If you need a transparent cutout after the sparkle is gone, there’s a background-removal tool under Tools.
Why I built it
I was shipping Gemini stills to clients and cropping the corner off. That’s a bad crop. A small in-browser tool was enough for stills; video needed a saved job.
I’m the maker. If Instant misses a 9:16 export, comment with the model and I’ll look.
