What I Built

I Built an OS That Actively Stops You From Being Productive
I was supposed to work on something useful.
Instead… I built an operating system that makes sure I don’t.
Introducing AI Procrastination OS v6.9 — a completely unnecessary, slightly aggressive, and deeply honest system that detects your productivity… and destroys it.

Code

I built everything in a single HTML file using pure JavaScript.

How I Built It

No frameworks. No libraries. Just bad decisions and good timing.

HTML + CSS + Vanilla JavaScript
Terminal-style UI (inspired by hacker aesthetics)
Custom typing animation system
Random roast generator
Fake system processes & logs
Browser APIs (camera access for trolling)
Glitch effects + screen shake

Most of the logic is just controlled chaos.

Why This Exists (Unfortunately)

This project is:

Not useful
Not productive
Not solving anything In fact, it actively makes things worse. Which makes it… perfect for this challenge.

Laziness Leaderboard (you’re #1, obviously)
Time wasted tracker (painfully accurate)
AI roast engine
Productivity always = 0%
Fake FBI warning
Opens multiple distraction tabs at once

The Thought Behind It

Honestly, this started as a joke.
But the more I built it, the more I realized:
This is exactly how procrastination feels.
You know what you should be doing… but somehow you end up doing everything else. So instead of fighting it, I turned it into a system.
