365 days learning JavaScript and web development framework

Hello everyone 😁
This is my first blog in Dev.to

The main reason is the one seen in the title, I plan to spend a whole year learning JavaScript.
I accept any type of advice to help this my new process 💛

I will be starting with this process very soon, and I will share my experience in these places 📰

What is your goal in one year? And why javascript? Do you have any experience before? There are so much question. Would be nice to read what drives you to do this.

But here some advice:

  • your own experience have more value then advices on the internet
  • paying customers are more important as silly code optimization
  • done it right at the beginning, bad code cost a lot of time and money
  • when programming with other developers, don't force your coding style find a way to work as a team

I don't have javascript advices because the language is one of the best when it comes to the learning curve. Take every error you do seriously and fix it. Even everything runs.

Hi, this sounds great! You may want to check Makerlog too, it's a nice community of devs and makers sharing daily what they do. I think you will find it motivating to keep your streak there.
Good luck!

Wow, that's amazing, Arge!
The most important tip I can give you now might sound like a cliché, but in this field, it's extremely important: Don't give up! Especially if you make errors or find something challenging.

Mistakes and errors are a big part of programming. Every single dev, no matter how talented or skilled they are, makes them.

So, don't discourage if you hit a roadblock or if something fails. If you are consistent, you'll eventually overcome those obstacles. And that's how you become a better developer.

¡Buena suerte!
